Dimitria Spathakis

Dimitria is a joint Master of Business Administration and Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of Management and the Yale School of the Environment. At Yale, Dimitria is exploring nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation, with a focus on carbon storage in forests and working lands. Last summer, Dimitria supported the UNDP’s Aggregator Fund Climate Innovation Accelerator to scale locally led SMEs at the intersection of climate mitigation and adaptation. Dimitria also has experience consulting startups and social enterprises on developing sustainable business models. Prior to Yale, Dimitria served as a logistics officer in the United States Marine Corps, leading teams in Hawaii, Japan, and Thailand. Dimitria attended Bowdoin College in Maine where she studied Biology as well as Eurasian and East European Studies.
