Nicole Gotthardt
Nicole is a Student Research Assistant at the CC Lab.
Nicole is a senior at Yale College, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a certificate in Energy Studies. Her passion for biological solutions to climate change and sustainable land management led her into forestry, where she has experience working in New England forests and conducting research with the Yale Applied Science Synthesis Program (YASSP). Along with her forest health and resilience work at YASSP, Nicole is in the process of finishing her senior thesis, analyzing the credibility of risk assurance mechanisms utilized by carbon registries to ensure durability of forest carbon offsets. At Yale, Nicole is a member of the Varsity Field Hockey Team. She enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing in her free time.
