Nicole Gotthardt

Nicole is a Research Analyst at the CC Lab.

Nicole recently graduated from Yale College with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a certificate in Energy Studies. Her passion for biological solutions to climate change and sustainable land management led her into forestry, where she has experience working in New England forests and conducting research with the Yale Applied Science Synthesis Program (YASSP). Along with her forest health and resilience work at YASSP, Nicole completed her senior thesis on analyzing the credibility of risk assurance mechanisms utilized by carbon registries to ensure durability of forest carbon offsets. At Yale, Nicole was a member of the Varsity Field Hockey Team. She enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing in her free time.
