Öznur Öztürk

Öznur is a Master of Public Policy candidate at Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. Prior to grad school, she worked at UNICEF where she concentrated on humanitarian emergency response in Middle East. Building on her research experience in renewable energy, she has done climate advocacy in the US for various topics including climate finance, extreme weather and hard to abate sectors. She is mainly interested in working in the intersection of science, policy and technology enabled by innovative financing. At the CC Lab, she works on short-lived climate pollutants with a particular focus on refrigerant gases, exploring the global governance of refrigerants and possible intervention points.
