Jack Durkee
Jack is a Student Research Assistant at the CC Lab.
Jack Durkee is a master's student in Columbia University's Sustainability Management program, tracking in business strategies of decarbonization. His courses have focused on the energy transition, and his course projects have explored topics including direct air capture facilities, carbon markets, and GHG emissions accounting. Prior to Columbia, Jack spent seven years at the Wilson Center, a foreign policy think tank, building its Arctic program. Among his various responsibilities there, Jack led an initiative on renewable energy in Canada & Iceland, led working groups exploring the critical mineral supply chain in Alaska, and built a database of infrastructure assets across the Arctic. In his free time, Jack enjoys chess, reading in parks, hockey & soccer, and international travel.
