Ella Xu

Ella is an undergraduate student studying Earth and Planetary Science and Applied Mathematics at Yale University. At the CC Lab, she is focusing on using seismic and airborne electromagnetic survey data to profile and assess field sites in the Pacific Northwest for feasibility in carbon mineralization. She is also interested in science-backed, high-quality crediting strategies for the carbon market. Outside the lab, Ella conducts academic research in seismology and serves as a mentor for first-years in STEM. In her free time, she enjoys birdwatching, playing badminton, and fiber arts.
