Charlie Loitman
Charlie is a graduate intern at the CC Lab.
Charlie is a Master's of Climate Solutions student at UC Berkeley focusing on energy markets and the financial mechanisms that promote decarbonization. He is working to identify promising oil wells for methane abatement and modelling incentives to promote these efforts. Prior to joining the Lab and pursuing his current degree, he traded commodities at Flow Traders, building out the firm's carbon credit strategies and expanding energy pricing. He has conducted materials science research on photovoltaics and designed a concrete mix to reduce the carbon-intensity of 3D-printed houses. He graduated from Yale University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Economics.
